Nordic Digital Lab is a state-of-the-art imaging laboratory where proud craftsmanship meets the latest digital printing technology. We deliver uncompromising quality to both professional photographers, businesses and quality-conscious individuals.

The roots from 1983 and the digital revolution

Our foundation is built on the well-reputed company Dansk Farvefoto, which, with Knud Kristensen at the helm, has been servicing Danish photographers since 1983. The ideology was crystal clear from the start: We wanted to offer the absolute best quality and always utilize the newest technologies on the market. This certainly brought the laboratory from a time when it was a minor revolution to be able to develop color images in under 6 hours, and into the new millennium, when photography became digital.

At the beginning of 2007, it was time for a generational change. Optimal development in a digital age required new forces. Therefore, Knud handed over the baton and the spirit of the company to the laboratory's digital specialist, Jan Rasmussen. This was the starting point for Nordic Digital Lab in completely new, optimized premises and with a brand new, state-of-the-art machinery.

Professional expertise at eye level

Behind the helm is Jan Rasmussen, who, with his education as both a photo dealer and photographer, has in-depth professional knowledge. Jan has worked in several of the industry's exciting companies and has been responsible for digital image production at Dansk Farvefoto for a number of years. At Nordic Digital Lab, we have removed all costly intermediaries. When you call or write, you will have direct contact with the specialists who have your images in their hands. We know the needs of our customers, and we believe that close, personal collaboration creates the most beautiful end results.

Our specialties and core products

In addition to the fact that we naturally produce photo prints in an absolutely exceptional class, we are particularly proud of our primary services:

• True black and white prints in large format: With our advanced laser technology, we can – currently as the only laboratory in Denmark – produce true, chemically developed black and white images in formats up to 50x80 cm.
• Color enlargements: Razor-sharp color prints up to 50x80 cm, also based on advanced laser technology.
• School photo packages: Professional production and handling of school photos.

Finishing and special products

We also offer a number of secondary services that complete your visual project:

• Advanced image retouching and image manipulation.
• Stamping and laminating of enlargements.
• Photo printing on special products such as cups, puzzles, wine bottles and much more.
