Privacy and Personal Data Policy

At Nordic Digital Lab v/Jan Rasmussen, we value our customers and have great respect for your privacy. We only collect necessary information for the purpose of improving your shopping experience, processing your orders and being able to communicate with you about our products and services.
We recognize that it is our duty to process your customer information responsibly and in accordance with applicable legislation (GDPR). We do not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information with selected partners when it is necessary to provide a service to you (e.g. for shipping).

1. What information do we collect?
We collect general personal information that you provide to us. This typically happens when you place an order, create a customer account or sign up for a newsletter. The information includes:
- Full name and postal address
- Email address and phone number
- Purchase history and product interests
- Payment information (we do not store full credit card information locally, as payments are handled securely via encrypted payment gateways)
2. How do we use your information?
When you shop at Nordic Digital Lab, we only use your information to:
- Process, produce and deliver your order.
- Send you order confirmations,invoices and shipping information via email.
- Contact you by phone or email if any questions arise regarding your file or order.
- Customize and improve your future shopping experience on our website.
3. Third parties and data processors
In order to deliver our products to you, we share necessary information (name, address, email and telephone number) with our shipping suppliers (GLS and Danske Fragtmænd). We also use trusted IT suppliers and payment solutions to operate the webshop. All our partners act as data processors for us and may only use the information to fulfill their specific agreement with us.
4. Your rights and access to data
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you always have the right to be informed about what personal data we have registered about you. You also have the right to demand that the information be corrected or completely deleted from our systems (with the exception of data that we are legally obliged to store, e.g. according to the Danish Accounting Act).
If you have created a customer account with us, you can log in and correct your information at any time. If you want all your data deleted, please contact us in writing at info@nordicdigitallab.dk.
5. Newsletters and email updates
You will only receive marketing material (such as offers and newsletters) via email if you have actively consented to this. If at any time you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletter, you can always do this by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or by contacting our customer service. Please note that we will always send you service emails regarding your ongoing orders, regardless of whether you are subscribed to the newsletter or not.
6. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser so that we can recognize your computer on repeat visits. Our cookies do not contain any personal information and cannot contain viruses.
We use cookies to:
- Ensure that the technical functions of the website work (e.g. that the contents of your shopping cart and the price calculator are saved,while shopping).
- Recognize you if you are logged in to your customer account.
- Collect anonymized statistics on the use of our website so that we can continuously improve the user experience.
You can always reject or delete cookies via the settings in your browser. However, please note that if you block technical cookies, large parts of the webshop (including the ability to add items to the cart) will not function optimally.
7. Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 18. If we become aware that a child has created an order or an account without parental consent, we will immediately delete the information in question from our systems.
