What is Fine Art print?
A Fine art print – often called giclée – differs from ordinary photo prints by being produced on archival-resistant paper and with pigment-based ink. This means that your photos will last for many years without fading, and that even the finest nuances and details are reproduced with precision. Fine art is therefore the preferred choice when images are to be exhibited, sold or included in a professional portfolio.
The expression comes through the choice of paper
At Nordic Digital Lab we offer several types of Fine art paper with different structures, weights and surfaces. You can choose between smooth papers for sharp photographic reproductions or papers with more texture, which give an artistic depth. What they have in common is high quality, color fastness and a sense of exclusivity.

PermaJet
PermaJet is among the best when it comes to Fine Art Print on inkjet printers.
Our selection is by far the largest from PermaJet, for the simple reason that they dry more. Their range includes, for example, papers such as Titanium Lustre 280 gsm, which gives grayscale images an almost shiny silver look, or Portrait Rag 285 gsm, which presents black as deep as a black hole.

Colors and technical specifications
To ensure the best quality, we support ICC profiles and work with pigmented inks that deliver deep black tones and a wide color spectrum. We recommend that your files are delivered in high resolution and in a color space such as AdobeRGB. If you have any questions about preparation, we will be happy to help you with guidance, so that your Fine art print has the optimal expression.

How to order
The process is simple: upload your image in our online design software, choose the paper type and format, and order your Fine art print. We take care of the rest with precision and care.

Prefix or wefix?
If you need a helping hand editing your images? Then we are ready to help. If you select wefix when you order an image, one of our retouchers will look at your image before we print it.As a starting point, we look at the color temperature, whether the image is too dark or light and whether it might need a little sharpness. All of this is something we do so that you get the best possible image print in the end.
With wefix, we also give you as a customer the guarantee of a nice print. If you receive your image but are not completely satisfied, write an email to info@nordicdigitallab.dk, or call us at 86 81 21 11, we would be more than happy to talk to you about your print.
If you choose to have your image printed with a prefix, it is a fully automated process that takes your file and prints it on our chemical printers. We don't see the images until they have come out of the printer and are ready for packing and shipping.
Have you edited your images yourself?
If you have edited your images yourself, we generally do not suggest ordering the images with wefix. Otherwise, you may end up with some images that do not match the look you may have given them.
